She is a qualified Actuary and Founder chair of the Institute and Faculty of Actuaries Pension Gap Working Party and Co-chair of the Data and Research Group of an industry-wide Pensions Equity Group.

“Looking at L&G data, I was shocked to find that women currently retiring are doing so with less than half the pension pot of their male peers,” she says. ”This has ramifications for society at large – research from the International Monetary Fund suggests that the gains from closing gender gaps completely could lift a countries GDP by on average 23%.”

In this session Alexandra will summarise the facts, before focusing on the main points that any case for change will need to include in order to be successful.
