Methodology

The IFW is a meeting place. It exists to bring people and organisations together who want to learn and share ideas around the subject of money and happiness.

We are a not-for-profit organisation, but we do have costs. In keeping with the above principle, however, we are less interested in the traditional sponsorship model, and instead seek Partner Members to help use deliver on our mission.

An ideal IFW partner member will:

• be proud to publicise that they are helping to achieve the aims of the IFW;
• make a contribution towards our running costs;
• want to get involved with our activities;
• be able to demonstrate that wellbeing is intrinsic to their own business, both in terms of employees and its products and services.

We want being a Partner Member of the IFW to mean something. We want Partner Members to be proud to display our logo.

We therefore do not want to partner with just any organisation that offers us money. Instead, we seek relationships with firms who are also dedicated to making the world a happier place.

The application process reflects this. Whilst we will not be publishing details of companies that do not make it through our assessment, those that do will be able to say that the IFW have assessed them as being committed to the wellbeing of employees and customers.
